Lori Steinley is a board certified physician assistant and a licensed physical therapist. She received her undergraduate physical therapy degree from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN, and her masters degree in physician assistant studies from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND. She has a masters degree in exercise physiology from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, MN, and diploma in naturopathy from Trinity College of Natural Health out of Warsaw, Indiana. She also has certifications in reflexology and nutritional counseling. As a physical therapist for over 25 years, she primarily worked in out patient orthopedics with an emphasis in women’s health; back, neck, TMJ, pelvic pain, and chronic pain. As a physician assistant she has worked in urology and chronic pain clinics. She believes in offering a variety of care options to partner with her patients to facilitate a path to recovery and wellness. Her motto: Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass. It’s about learning how to dance in the rain….
When not working, she enjoys time with her husband Maurie, and her 20 something son and daughter-encouraging them in their adult lives. She also enjoys singing, playing piano, reading, exercising and being outdoors.
